Refund Policy

Rubies are digital goods delivered to your account right away, so purchases are generally final. We do want to put real mistakes right, so here's when we'll refund you.

When we'll refund you

• Unspent rubies: within 14 days of buying a pack, if you haven't spent any of the rubies from it.
• A purchase nobody meant to make: for example, a child bought rubies without permission. Please tell us within 14 days.
• A problem on our side: you were charged twice, or your rubies never arrived.

When we won't

• Rubies you've already spent, including on upgrades, styles and season passes.
• Changing your mind after 14 days.
• Rubies lost when you delete your account, or when we close it for breaking the Terms of Service.
• Changes to game balance, prices or items.

How to ask

Email support@chessofclans.app with your player name, the date you bought the pack and the receipt Stripe emailed you. We aim to reply within 3 business days.

What happens next

• We send the money back to your original payment method through Stripe. It usually takes 5 to 10 business days to appear.
• A full refund takes the rubies from that pack back out of your account. If you've spent some since, your balance can go below zero until you buy or earn more.

Disputing a charge with your bank

Please email us first, as it's usually faster. If a payment is disputed with your bank or card company, the rubies from that purchase are taken back out of your account.

Your legal rights

Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law. In the UK and EU, by buying rubies you ask us to deliver them right away, and you accept that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once they're delivered. If you're charged for something faulty, you still have your normal rights.

Purchases through an app store

If the game comes to an app store, purchases made there will follow that store's refund rules.
