These terms are an agreement between you and Runner Concepts LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we"), which runs Chess of Clans. By creating an account, buying rubies or playing the game, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

Who can play

Anyone can play as a guest on their own device. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission before you create an account or buy anything, and they accept these terms for you.

Your account

• Choose a name that doesn't pretend to be someone else or offend anyone. We can change or remove a name that does.
• Keep your password safe. We don't collect an email address, so a lost password can't be reset, and you could lose your account and everything in it.
• Your account is for you. Don't sell it, share it or transfer it.

Rubies and purchases

• Rubies are the game's paid currency. You can spend them only inside Chess of Clans, on things like upgrades, styles and season passes.
• When you buy rubies, you get a limited right to use them in the game. They aren't money, have no cash value, and can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for anything outside the game.
• Rubies are delivered to your account right after payment. Prices are shown before you pay, and we may change them for future purchases.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
• Unspent rubies don't expire, but they end when your account is deleted, when we close your account for breaking these terms, or if the game shuts down.

Fair play

Chess of Clans is a game of skill, so keep it fair. Don't:

• Use a chess engine or get outside help in a live or ranked game.
• Use bots, scripts or anything else that plays for you.
• Exploit bugs, tamper with the game or try to reach anything that isn't yours.
• Throw games, trade wins or use extra accounts to gain an advantage.

We can reset progress or ratings gained this way, and we can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Clans and chat

You're responsible for what you post. No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam or personal details about anyone. We can remove messages, and remove players from clans or the game. To report someone, email support@chessofclans.app.

Changes to the game

We keep changing the game. Prices, rewards, balance, modes and items can change, and that can change what you've earned or bought. We may also pause or close the game. If we decide to close it, we'll try to give notice in the game first.

Our content

The game, its art, its names and its code belong to us or our licensors. You can play it for personal fun, but you can't copy it, resell it or build on it without our permission.

Closing your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Deleting it removes your village and any rubies you have left, and it can't be undone. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we do, you won't get a refund for rubies you lose, unless the law says you should.

No guarantees

The game is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of bugs or free of lost progress.

Limit on liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of $50 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and any dispute goes to the courts there, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring it where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
